Later on, cloud classifications from Mars (IRL) could be tailored/identified for similar planets…
We have a global goal to find the most Mars-like planet for this.
For the inspection mission in SSG-286, here’s what I think:
- Satellite is following a progress indicator in the viewport that shows the different milestones
- Classification/view anomaly/data buttons
- Fetch function from exofop for stellar data We should also include the “bonus data” section.
Planet Anomaly Naming Conventions
SSG-287 Exoplanet anomalies are now named using meaningful prefixes like KOI, TIC, or KIC depending on the data source. This reinforces the scientific grounding of classification tasks and helps players differentiate types of celestial bodies.
We may expand this naming scheme to allow filtering or tagging anomalies by source in future viewports.
