Achievements can have a practical benefit, or they can just reward the user with stardust (which is used to unlock new technology as per the user’s desires).
Project achievements

- 2 asteroids = ActiveAsteroids unlocked
Stardust achievements
Planet Hunters
- 10 planets = x bonus stardust
Achievements, Milestones, and Skill Progress
Achievements are persistent badges for players — e.g. “10 Planets Discovered”, “5 AI4M Routes Completed”, etc. These may unlock new types of missions, tech, or tools.
Milestones are time-sensitive community goals (weekly, per-project), and should award Stardust.
The /next/{classificationId} route should eventually show:
- Progress toward related skill badges
- Remaining steps in inspection/follow-up missions
- Additional actions (e.g., bonus missions)
Voting and consensus actions should also contribute to achievements and Stardust rewards.
